Fred grew up in a small town where his parents owned and operated a grocery store and a farm and garden center. At the age of 20, he and his father opened an outdoor power equipment store. Fred has always had a love for God’s great outdoors. He grew up hunting and fishing, and he is an avid turkey hunter. Fred has a background in the poultry business from owning and operating a 6 house broiler farm with his wife Candace. With the help of Poultry South and Southeastern Land Group, they sold their farm in 2016. Fred and his family currently live in Wicksburg, Alabama. They have two children, Katie and Will. They attend Evergreen Presbyterian Church in Dothan, Alabama.
